Undercover Operation by Maggie K. Black My Review
I enjoyed this one as part of a collection
And I thought
I purchase the audio collection because I wanted to read Dana Mentink's title.
Undercover Operation was the first in the que.
I immediately enjoyed it. It is in the Christian Fiction category so I of course expected some God moments as I have found in all the titles I have read by Dana Mentink and many others.
But this one was different.
The main characters Asher and Peyton prayed all along the way.
Silently to themselves they talked to God.
They thanked God for getting them out of scrapes that happened almost immediately.
They prayed for God's safety and guidance each step of the way.
As a pretend married couple the two were thrown together and a deep attachment developed.
There were other characters K9 officers that worked behind the scenes deciphering clues Asher and Peyton shared in their afternoon video reports.
I enjoyed the boating and diving scenes as the two followed leads and searched for the missing drugs that the puppies had been snatched to find for the drug people.
Toward the end when one of the crimes was found dead Asher prayed for him and his family who had been looking for him for months.
I enjoyed Undercover Operation and will look for more titles by the author when I finish the collection
