How I kind of met Nancy .  .  .

It was many moons ago at the SouthIake Public Library.   BTW at Christmas they offer amnesty for late fees.  A donation to the food pantry.  I wish all libraries did this . . . I digress anywho. I didn't actually meet Nancy but I found her books! I devoured them.  But that was  many many years ago and I am clueless which titles I read.  I wonder if I could Google the year and see what books were published around that time.   Hmm a new project!

Here's a bit of info about. . .

Nancy Mehl is a best-selling, award winning author who lives in Missouri, with her husband, Norman, and her Puggle, Watson. She’s authored over thirty books and is currently writing a new series for Bethany House Publishing. The Kaely Quinn Profiler series kicked off with book one, MIND GAMES, in December of 2018. FIRE STORM, book two, hits bookshelves in 2019. Also look for her books in The Mysteries of Lancaster County series (Guideposts) – co-written with her daughter-in-law, Shaen Layle.

  My Review  I had forgotten  how much I enjoy Lauren Carr's books.  It has been awhile since I have read a Chris Matheson and a Geezer Squad title.  I think one of the best things that Lauren Carr does is including a cast of characters.  Which is important  because there are a lot of characters to keep straight.  There are alot of suspects in Shadows of the Missing because there are alot of victims in this 45 year old cold case.  The main story revolves around the search for Helen Chris's wife's parents.  Helen and her younger sister have memories  from the last time they saw their mom.  Lauren  Carr keeps the reader interested  with multi plots that actually  all weave together  in one main plot.    There are some great regular characters in the series that uncover leads and hidden secrets.  And new characters like Percy  that I suspect might make their way into another title.  I r...
