Blue Monday

Honoring Smiling Sally   If you're reading this, I've gone to Heaven. I've been under Hospice care since May, but I didn't want to mention it. Many years ago, I made a decision to accept the gift of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. Now my time on earth has ended, and because of that decision, I'm in a much better place.

Featuring Author Debra Sennefelder...  Hello, happy Friday, my friends! I’m so glad you’re here with me for another Coffee & Chat. Grab your favorite mug, get comfortable, and let’s catch up. Things have been busy here, and to think that at the end of August I thought September would be a slow month. Boy, was I wrong! It’s been anything but slow. Do I dare hope for a slower October? I’m finalizing a recipe for a guest post on Mystery Lovers’ Kitchen, which will be published on Oct. 11th. My friend, the lovely and talented Darci Hannah, is hosting me for the day, and I’m looking forward to hanging out with the other authors and readers of this wonderful blog. I’ve been reading Mystery Lovers’ Kitchen for years, so I’m thrilled to be a guest. It’s also hard to believe that four episodes of my podcast, The Cozy Reading Corner, have already been released. It was only a few months ago that the idea came to me while I was driving to my dad’s apartment. By the time I arrived at...

Foodie Friday

A great  week of healthy food! I barely can eat the Salmon.  A 4th if the pkg mixed into salad is edible.  Barely.   Tuna sandwich cranrasins on side.  So yummy  squash, green bell pepper, cucumber.  Yes I put a cucumber in the skillet added a half a chicken brest to warm thru.  A parker house roll cooked in air fryer.  A fast lunch. I got Ponchos Queso ate walmart.  Ponchos was a favorite restaurant growing up.  And as adults.  My kids loved it too.  Very yummy.  I am out of granulated sugar. Powder sugar works fine and even is great in tea.  I had leftovers on Thursday night.  This was combo of white and brown  rice.  I learned a lesson on Tuesday.  I had one piece of toast on Tuesday. At 2 o'clock I was feeling odd. I took an anxiety pill. After a few minutes I realized opps. I ate a hard-boiled egg and drak a coke.  Whew! All better.   So much for trying to loose...
